from Gods Window that the early pioneers found while passing
through to find new settlements to the North. Traveling
through the Abel Erasmus Pass we enter the famous Kruger
National Park

visit Nelson Mandela’s old house and the Hector Petersen
Museum which portrays the events of June 1976 when the students
rebelled against the inequalities of the day; you also get
a chance to try some African fare in one of the local shabeens
(restaurant).Departing from the Capital City of Pretoria
we visit the rugged Sani Pass in the southern Drakensberg
where we take a 4x4 drive up the old trading route into
the little country of Lesotho that reaches an altitude of
2874 mtr, here you visit one of the villages where we see
a simpler way of life. Driving south we take a tour of the
coastal City of Durban and which will become our departure
point on “The Pride of Africa” luxury train
for your return journey back to Pretoria, passing through
the Kingdom of Swaziland and Kruger National Park with game
drives and Boma Dinner

Inn with amenities like swimming pool, spa and even as a

for those who enjoy walking. This area is one of the most
scenic parts of South Africa, which we will travel through
to visit the Blyderiver Canyon, Gods Window, Graskop and
a game drive in the Kruger National Park. Before leaving
the area for our return journey back to Jo’Burg we
will pass through the old mining town of Pilgrims Rest which
today is a living Museum reflecting the character and life
of a bygone age.

From your
arrival in Johannesburg our journey takes you into the upper
meander of the Blyderiver Canyon, the evolution of Bourke's

Safari vehicles in search of the BIG 5 of

animal kingdom, we will have breakfast in a bush environment,

We return to Johannesburg where you will fly into the Beach

Luxury Train Travel
From Durban Rail Station you can board “The Pride
of Africa”for a three day journey to Pretoria. Lunch
is
served as the train passes through the rolling hills and
cane fields of KwaZulu-Natal. Sit back, relax and enjoy
the vista, Dinner is served as we pass through the Swaziland
border. Wake up call for an early game drive in the Mkhaya
Game Reserve. Departing for Komatipoort brunch is served
in the dinning car. In the mid afternoon you arrive at Malelane
for a game drive in the famous Kruger National Park, followed
by a Boma dinner. Breakfast is served as the train begins
the ascent from Waterval Onder and climbs the escarpment
up towards Belfast. Lunch is served as the train departs
Witbank and onto Rayton where a steam engine will haul the
train into Pretoria.
The "Pride of Africa" Luxury train travels from
Durban on certain days of the week, group bookings for this
3 day journey can be made to travel back to Pretoria in
stead of by road transport.
